Expanders are used to attached castors to hollow legs, the idea is to insert the expander into the hollow leg and simply wind up the bolt hear from under the castor head, this activates the expander where the sleeve expanders and grips into the internal section of your leg.

Insert an Expander into the leg of the application then simply tighten an Allen head bolt under the castor so the expander then expands and tightens against the outer wall, holding the castor in place.
